Abstract
Diabetic
patients generally develop the complications of foot ulcers, breaking down of
the skin tissue in the case poorly controlled diabetics. As the numbers of
diabetic patient are increasing globally with the change in the lifestyle, the
measures for the early detection of the diabetic related problems are gaining
medical importance. Diabetic patients develop foot ulcers because of improper
blood flow, loss of the sensation, and low wound healing rate. The proposed
paper presents a system, which will provide readings of the hardness level at
various parts of the foot. This is done by placing the person's foot above the
sensing module. A predefined database comparison is made, and the shore output
is posted on the internet by using IP address, and also data can be stored with
the help of a micro-SD card.
